Repeatedly Shedding?

Hi,
I'm new to the site and I joined as I have a concern with my beardie. I have looked online and I haven't been able to find anything about this issue.
For the past month or so, my bearded dragon, Venus, has been shedding repetitively. She will do a full body shed, then a few days later the process will begin again. So far she has done this at least 4 times. I'm really not sure what is causing this and I am beginning to worry a little. The only thing I can think of is maybe the cold weather. She has been very sluggish and lost a bit of weight, and I heard you are supposed to hibernate them during the winter, but I was a bit anxious to do this as I have never done that to her before (she is about a 1 1/2 years old and fully grown, I believe).
I also made the mistake of buying the incorrect tank (too tall with a mesh top) so I have trouble keeping her warm inside of it. So I will be buying a new, lower vivarium and lighting equipment as soon as possible to see if this helps. Venus also has a very limited appetite - I have tried her on lots of different fruits and veggies but she will not touch them. The main foods she eats at the moment are watercress, wax worms and the occasional dubia roaches and locusts. I try to bathe her every few days, usually she poops while bathing and nothing seems out of the ordinary.
If someone could give me any advice, that'd be wonderful.
Sorry for the long post, thanks for reading!

Hi there. This sounds like Brumation to me, check the care sheets at the top of the site for more information. (Nothing to worry about). The shedding does seem slighlty unusual but nothing serious, but I would keep an eye on her and take a trip to the vet if you feel concerned about her health or her condition deteriorates (weight loss/dropping eyes). As for the heat, I would ensure temperatures are correct for her (between 95 and 110 F), and offer her fresh food daily. But just keep an eye for a few days and take a trip to the vet if needs be.

Since she is an adult I think repetitive immediate sheddings are unusual. Four complete body sheds in one month is excessive. If she is not eating you can syringe feed organic baby food. It is my recomendation to at least have a yearly fecal check for parasites. A dragon should not be allowed to brumate with a heavy parasite infection.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
