Rep-Cal Beardie Food experience??

Hey, a classmate gave me some free beardie supplies including a jar of rep-cal beardie food (http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754052&lmdn=Pet+Type) since his beardies passed on.
I am wondering if this would be a good addition to his veggie/cricket diet? Has anyone tried this stuff?

Also wondering if anyone has tried a jar of dead/gutloaded crickets, just because it seems it'd be really economical if it worked well for them, but i dont see how it would since beardies like live prey. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752591&lmdn=Pet+Type Although my beardie will eat a dead cricket if it falls out of the feeding tube next to a live cricket

Ive used the pellets in the past. I used to soak them in water before feeding and add them to Jazz' salad.

Both are edible but less nutritious than live feeders/veggies.

I tried canned crickets when my local petstore ran out of live feeders. He didn't like them very much. I was lucky if he would eat 2 or 3 a day.

They fed their beardies those pellets at Petsmart, where I got Darwin, so 2 weeks after I got him I bought some to see if he'd eat it. Nope. Took a couple of licks at the green ones, and didn't touch anything. If your beardie won't eat it, it can be a good gutload for feeders.

Darwin will always watch to make sure what he's about to eat is moving, and if it's not he won't put it into his mouth. I have read of some people whose beardies will eat the dead crickets. If you buy it from Petsmart and your beardie doesn't like it, they will take it back.
