Relocation stress.... how long?

So our new little guy is still not eating well.... only some greens and only when we're not around. He won't take any roaches from us or chase them himself and i really don't want to just drop them in his cage and leave them.

It's been 3 days now and I was just wondering how long relocation stress usually lasts in these little guys? He's still in his original viv with all of his original furniture and stuff but you can tell he's uneasy about us and our dogs (although we were told he was used to kids and dogs too).

Any thoughts on shortening this period for him and helping him to acclimate better / faster?

Relocation stress usually lasts about a week, but it can last only a few days, or a few days past a week.

As long as your setup is A-OK, there is nothing you can do really to help the relocation stress period besides just waiting it out.

Thanks, Brandon. He still won't eat when we're around and that's only his salad. He doesn't seem to want his roaches at all. He used to love his baths according to the previous owner but he gets all mad and black bearded when I give him one. He eliminates every time in there though.

Still hoping he starts to eat good soon! I have put a lot of time and energy into his roach colony to get it producing so he's going to have a lot to eat! lol
