You can use a tote or smaller aquarium for him like a 20 gallon for now - pack him up like you were taking him on vacation - make him as comfortable as possible --- if you take him out for periods of time he wont mind being in something small for a day or so - you can give him lots of attention while hes out and it wont be so bad for him - granted his eating may not be the best at this point cuz of everything going on but I am sure he will be fine - just take care of him like you have been ------ make sure that his tank is covered up good if the house is being bombed --- I cannot stress the cleaning of his surroundings when you go back - it should be done before hes brought back home - and he should not be let to run around the house again till its all cleaned up ---

How long is the ride to the house? You can either get a small pet carrier or a small tote to put him in -- what is the weather like? Is it warm where you are ?

ok I’m at work my fiancé is the one doing all this it sucks because I’m the one he trusts too feed him and all that he likes my fiancé too but my fiancé thinks Mushu can smell his testosterone and is intimidated by it idk if that actually possible but that’s what he thinks

For that short a journey, you can also put him in an appropriate sized box (shoe box?) w/ a close-able lid. When we got ZaRDoZ at a reptile show last autumn (low 30s), breeder put him in a small box. I was skeptable {sic], but she explained that he'd be fine putting him in our knapsack like that for the duration of the show and the trip home. "He'll just go to sleep," she said. She was right--he was fine, w/no stress indicators or ill effects.

A couple of times when I had to put him in a box for weighing (and got distracted/delayed), when I opened the box, he had fallen asleep.

That'd be a question for all the male beardie-slaves here.

Personally, it sounds like fiancé just doesn't want to do it or take the responsibility. My DW is kinda the same way; she's all for my having a reptile (or more), loves watching him, thinks he's cute, etc., but won't have any part in touching him--yet. (She's "working up to it". It's only been 4 months. )

I'm not suggesting a perfect analogy here. Your fiancé may be ok with handling--maybe just not this much in case something goes wrong. Understandable; I have reservations about DW's stuff too.

Or I could be entirely wrong. Basing the observation/opinion on 4+ decades married.

He will get used to him- they usually come around in time - just have the fiance keep working w/ him and he will be fine

Yes mam he is it just worries him that Mushu won’t eat or drink unless it’s me because I work long hours and he doesn’t want him too get sick again going without while I’m working

That's OK--it was just a guess.

FWIW, mine acts exactly the same way toward me (plus hisses a lot  ). After ~4 months, he's starting to come around.

There could be many reasons for it. Is your fiancé larger than you? Does he have facial hair (beard?) Different body language (more animated)? Louder/boomier voice? These are just examples. There are many more, and animals can be funny that way (like some dogs not liking men with hats or beards).

But I agree w/ Karrie--he'll come around in time. They're all different, so you can't put a number on it. Patience & perseverance.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
