Okay, so my little dumb dumb is about two now. Had him since he was an egg.
This really isn't a new thing for him, but he refuses to do anything but hide and sleep.
He eats like a pig and drinks like a fish but then after that, he goes back in to his hole. or any hide he can locate and sleeps.
There are several basking spots of different temperatures, but I don't think thats the issue.
He just can't handle being out in the open. He is scared of everything, and if he is out somewhere, as soon as he sees you he runs and hides in his hole.
This is not very interesting for me. :?
I take him out, and have several basking places in the house that I take him to, but he runs and hides, (usually behind the computer monitor.)
???
My other four dragons did / do not do this sort of thing, however; his father was the same way for no apparent reason.
I know this sounds ridiculous, but could this behavior be hereditary?
Any ideas?
