My beardie is recently going through a hibernation. He is very sleepy in the day time and doesn't move a lot. He will occasionally eat some of his green salad but he will always refuse to eat his crickets and superworm, which were his favorite food. Does this look normal? Also I bathed him every two days but he only pooped once or twice in two weeks. Before the winter time, he pooped everyday. I looked at some article saying that you should encourage your dragon to poop before he went to a deep long sleep but my dragon never went to a deep sleep. But my dragon is just sleepy and lazy. He will bask and his belly looks normal, no sign of anxiety and frustration. My room is pretty worm, 27-29 degree celcius all day. His tank is like before, hot spot ~38 degree celcius and cool side is the same as the room temperature.
I don't understand why my dragon won't eat his crickets or superworm. I am very worried. Does anyone has the same experience?
