Redfoot calcium needs?

Hi, I have a friend who just got a 4yr old redfoot tortoise off of LesPAC(Quebec's version of Craig's list). He needs to know how much and how often he should be giving calcium to Frankie, and what kind it should be. Any and all help appreciated as I have no clue to tortoises except that they're kinda cute.

Those I know with tortoises use rep cal calcium sprinkled on some greens daily. They provide calcium rich greens also to help with this. With or without D3 depends on if he is outside in the sun or using a MVb for uvb.
PS I think they were dusting with calcium 4 days a week. It has been awhile since I spoke with them.
