Red spots in feces?

My little micro-beardie (who is quickly becoming not so micro) has had little red spots in his poo today and yesterday. I noticed it is also a bit looser than normal. About a week ago I began feeding him online-ordered crickets (premiumcrickets) and a couple of days ago a gave him some squash baby food. (Not organic, though.) Those are the only recent changes.

Basking temperature: 106 F
Cool side temp: About 89 F (Can't get it any lower - there is a spiral 60 W on that side, the energy saver kind)

He eats two meals of crickets daily, one with calcium dust. Occasionally he will eat some of his collard greens. I give him a bath every 2-4 days.

He is between 5-6 months old and 9 inches, but is growing like an inch a week! :)

I would suggest highly a fecal exam. This could be a parasite called Hook Worms.
Janie.
To lower temps on the cool side, use a 40 or a 25 w instead.

I took Pip for an exam and fecal today and he has pinworms. They gave me medicine, but something else the assistant said to me contradicted what I learned here. I said he didn't eat much greens, and ate about 40-50 crickets a day. She was really surprised he ate so many crickets and told me that greens should be the major part of his diet at his age. (6 months).

Is he eating too many crickets? I let him eat for about 10 minutes twice a day.

He's probably not going to be eating much greens at six months, but you should be getting him started on them. As a general rule, assistants generally don't know as much as the vet does (granted, this most certainly doesn't apply to all assistants, but most are just trained very generally in reptiles but more detailed in cats and dogs).

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
