About two weeks ago I noticed my bearded dragon's mouth under her tongue was a darker pink than the rest of her mouth. I had seen it before when she was younger but it promptly went away-- this one seems to be staying longer. My concern now is that she hangs her lips open slightly at all times of day. However her appetite hasn't changed and she sleeps well. Could this turn into mouth rot?
I also read online that not having enough hiding places could cause a beardie to rub/ knock their nose on the glass of the cage which could lead to sores. Mine sometimes will do this.
I took some photos while she ate, I posted pictures below.
What will help it to heal?
