Red Palm Oil

I was told that my gravid beardie is calcium and vitamin deficient.

She advised me to continue giving her calcium (obviously), multivitamins, and add red palm oil (but only temporarily).

Does anyone have any advice on how to give red palm oil? It's the same consistency as coconut oil and comes in the same type of packaging. Do I put this on her food, and if so, how much?

I haven't heard of using red palm oil. If it's the same soft solid consistency of coconut oil then I would scoop a little bit and warm it up so it melts. Then drip it on her nose to lick up. You probably don't need to offer more than a few drops at a time unless an amount was specified. If she doesn't like the taste or won't lick it. Then you could try mixing it in with different foods and see how that goes.

I use a syringe with no needle and have to open my beardies mouth and squirt it in. My vet gave it to me when he got sick

Thanks for the responses! Yes I was given it for what she determined was a Vit A deficiency. I actually just stuck a spoon in and drizzled it over her salad on the days I didn't give her calcium on her salads. Not for long as the vet said only for the period while she's I'll since too much Vit A can have the opposite intended effect and make them sick as well! She didn't have a problem with the taste apparently because she ate her salad up. I heard it has a sorta sweet taste? Kinda like carrots?
