Red nighttime heat bulb

My beardie came from her previous owner with a red nighttime heat bulb and I recently started using it when I noticed her enclosure getting below 70 degrees at night. She sleeps fine with it on. Is it okay to use it until it burns out? After it dies I plan on getting a CHE.

How cold does the tank get at night? I would stop using it because they can see the red light and it may become a problem after a little while. If the tank temps stay above 65 at night, you don't need nighttime heat. Otherwise, I'd get a CHE sooner rather than later.
