My bearded dragon that I purchased at petsmart 4 days ago has been doing good. When I walk into my room he scratches the glass frantically and when I get him out he falls asleep on my lap and licks my fingers. sometimes he even hand waves at me and tilts his head at me. One thing that I recently noticed though and has me very worried is his tail has turned a pale whitish color. what could this be? I'm going to attach pictures as well.

Shedding is a natural thing for lizards and snakes, it means they're healthy and growing, so this is good! Do not peel the skin off, let your baby do the work himself/herself, and just make sure to pick the scales up so it doesn't eat them. I suggest you do a little more research on your pet, and make sure to give it a warm (As long as the water is warm and doesn't get to the point of burning the inside of your wrist) bath every night as long as it's a baby to help the shedding as well as hydration. Very shallow water, only up to your beardies armpits. Just do this for a couple minutes and you can try to help it drink by splashing the water and dripping drops in front of it's face. Don't drip/ pour water on it's head , specially where the ears and eyes are! When it's older, get a soft bristled toothbrush and gently scrub it, but when it's an adult it doesn't need baths every night. Don't be alarmed if your beardie poops in the bath, that just means bath time is over! Also, are you monitoring temperature and humidity in it's tank?

Ive researched for about 3 weeks straight so trust me ive done my research lol. I just never leaned myself on what they look like when they are shedding. I been giving him warm baths every night and his tail did start peeling. Also yes I do moniter his temps. 80 on cool side 50 humidity. 90 on warm side 33 humidity. Adn basking spot is 90-102 depending which spot he bask in.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
