Red Ackie OR Tegu?

So my husband has done a bunch of research and has narrowed it down to he either wants a red ackie or a tegu (hes looking at the blue tegus, if that makes a difference) for a pet.. he asked me to post on here and see if yall had any opinions as to which would be better?? SO do any of you happen to have either of these? And whats the pros/cons? Any opinions? Thanks
