Really rough shed on face/head?

My beardies been trying to shed his head for a while, today its finally coming off but its difficult for him, he keeps rubbing his chin and head against the glass/rocks/carpet, like hes trying to get the extra skin off. Is there anything I can do to help the poor guy get it off? I think its stressing him out.

You can mist his head and face area multiple times a day with water, this will help loosen the shed.

Baths are good, and I heard that witch hazel was good for loosing tough sheds.
