Ready to Shed?

This is probably a silly question (I am not above it 8) ) but is Lincoln's tail about ready to shed? I have only had him about a week and a half; I am still a nervous worried mom. :lol:

Can you see the color difference? (there is a slight glare from taking the picture through the glass)
