Thanks Barb, I'm glad I gave her the answers as to what you would have told her, I know we have discussed a lot of how we do things over the years. :wink:

Hopefully Kaleen IS getting some much needed rest, perhaps she even is resting with PeeWee, I'm sure he'll get lots of cuddles with her today. He is really adjusting well after such a long trip.

I am quite proud of myself right now. I got home and read the pages on PeeWee without skipping ahead :lol: The stress was just unbelievable as I read the pages I can't imagine being you guys today posting back and forth. I hope both of you are able to get some sleep tonight. Kaleen I really hope PeeWee is just the medicine you need to make a quick recovery! The photos of him are just adorable. His colors are very bold. I look forward to the video. Congrats PeeWee on your new home :wink:

Hello everyone! I actually was able to get a few hours of sleep surprisingly. Thank you Diane and Barbara for answering my questions. I did not feed him in a separate feeding bin, I've never done that with the other three, and I opted not to cover the sides of his enclosure. Chloe and PeeWee aren't too focused on the other and PeeWee has been exploring his new house most of the day. I took some more pictures of him hanging out with Jeffrey and I. He's so comfortable with us already, and is happier when we are holding him. He absolutely got plenty of cuddles today, and I'm anxiously awaiting bed time so I can put him to sleep. Well here's a few more pictures, I didn't get as many as I would have liked to mostly because I'm exhausted and the pain from surgery is kicking my butt. Anyway here's PeeWee:

No more photos please, be gone with you! He's so cute, I love him so much. He seems to be settling in quite well, right now he's watching movies with us. He has a few stress marks but that's to be expected. I put the blankie Barbara shipped him in, in his enclosure. I'm going to burrito him in it for night night tonight just to give him the comforts of familiarity! Okay that's it from me tonight, unless he does something else adorable, which I'm sure he will!

Great pictures! You can tell already by the look on his face that he KNOWS he has the 2 of you wrapped around his little toes already! :lol: Have to laugh at the one of him staring at Jeffrey's whiskers, probably wondering why HE doesn't have a beard like that ha ha.

He looks very relaxed with all the human attention he's getting and looks so content with his tank set up. Love the one of him looking over his shoulder and also of him looking up, wait until Barb sees those. His coloring is awesome, you're doing a great job, both of you, already. Love is in the air for sure.

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain, hopefully it won't keep you from sleeping.

Thanks for all the pics, it's such a relief that he got there safe & sound & warm! And that he's fitting into your home so well. And he already ate today, that's a great bonus. He's such a cutie & sure has great colours, a nice mix of Roux & Gus. He sure likes his basking spot & has he waved at Chloe yet? She's also a sweetie to give such a nice welcome to PeeWee. I'm glad you're keeping his name, he is a little squirt but may surprise us all yet, he's still a baby. I'm sorry you're in pain Kaleen, hope that passes quickly. And I reallyl enjoyed the pic of PeeWee checking out Jeffrey's mustache! So cute.

He'd do that all day long everyday if you let him...he is happiest when hanging out with the humans. He's like having a little buddy.

Told you he reminds me of Gus...that's the way he is only I didn't have him when he was a baby, but the day he moved in he took over. He thinks he's the boss and everything is for an about him. Booger doesn't have a clue about peckin' orders.
Just placed himself right at the top of the totem pole. Comes and goes and does as he pleases.

PeeWee definitely looks like a happy camper! :love5: Thank-you Kaleen and Jeffrey for giving him a warm loving home.
I'm glad that all of you had such a great first day getting to know each other.
Hope his cuteness helps you Kaleen to not think so much of the pain. So that maybe your recovery time will pass by quickly.

Good Morning!! I realize it's well in to the afternoon, but apparently I was incredibly exhausted. Jeffrey got up super early today and took care of everything and kept the back of the house quiet to let me catch up on some much needed sleep. Secretly I think he did it so he could get some one on one bonding time with PeeWee. Jeffrey gave him a bath this morning where PeeWee gave him a nice normal poop! He made him a nice salad of mustard and collard greens and hand fed him some and even as I've been up PeeWee will sneak over to the dish and nibble when no one is looking :love5: He had 4-5 dusted small crickets today too, but Jeffrey and I are going to pick him up some small dubia so we can get that video for Barbara. Our roach bin doesn't have any quite small enough for him. Oh last night just before lights out I noticed PeeWee was dozing off up on his large stick. I got his blankie from Barbara and gently picked him up, he quickly nestled in to my hand and went to sleep before I could place him on the blanket! I held him awkwardly in my hand for about 5-10minutes because he's so darn cute, and then I moved him to the blankie and wrapped him up. He slept on me for a bit, and then Jeffrey put us both to bed! hahaha! So he's having fun today exploring his house and exploring our house! I'm going to get some more pictures in a minute and post them, and work on that video for Barbara today too. Pictures to come shortly!!

Yeah sounds like Jeffrey was hoggin' the PeeWee time today. :lol:

I'm still exhausted from yesterday and the night before...I'm starting to think that a nap before kids get home from school might be nice.

Okay I'm back!! I got a cute little lounge lizard photo shoot with PeeWee and towards the end I looked over at Chloe and she was doing the same poses! So I'll start with PeeWee:

My money is on Kaleen to win the who loves Pee Wee more game..hands down. I think Jeffrey is cheating and trying to squeeze in the extra time while making Kaleen rest and take naps because of her surgery! Lol....Jeffrey look out, when that girl is up and back in the swing she is gonna win! Just had you guys on my mind and wanted to check in and read how it was going. All I know is that is one lucky little beardie.

Barbara, you still hanging in there? Maybe relaxing a little to see PeeWee is adjusting so well and loved?

Oh I am so winning the I love PeeWee more game. I win with all 8 of our lizards, the day Jeffrey cleans up lizard poop, then it might be a fair battle. Until that day, I win forever! hahaha! Just a second a go I glanced over at PeeWee and he was doing beardie stretches, I couldn't get the camera fast enough though.. He's sitting there with a nice gape going on. He ate a dozen small dubia and almost a dozen crickets for dinner. He managed to eat all of his salad throughout the day too. Jeffrey got the video of him eating his dubia and we will figure out how to post it tomorrow, he had band practice tonight so he had to leave in a hurry. Playtime was so much fun this afternoon, he likes to hang out in front of Chloe's viv and just stare at her. She gives him some nice waves and goes about her business. Mostly PeeWee likes to be held and or sit up on my shoulder while I take him on a tour of the house. He spent about 5 minutes sitting in the window in the sun. I can't wait for snuggles later, I am counting down the hours left in the day. Well here's a few more pictures to hold you over till tomorrow:

We are so happy and so in love. He fits in to our family perfectly, and I just know he's happy. Chloe is doing her best to give him a warm beardie welcome, and I believe he is receptive to her.

What great pics & I noticed that his tummy is nice & white when he's in your hands, but he brings out those stress marks when he's in his tank! I'm so glad he's fit in so well & that Chloe is giving him a warm welcome. Bet he's wondering when he can play with her! I'll be looking forward to the video, it takes forever to load from Photobucket, so take your time! I'm glad you're feeling better Kaleen, and that your'e getting lots of Pee Wee time. He's such a cutie & he has a great appetite. Isn't it funny that he nibbles on his greens when you're not looking, seems to be a beardie thing :lol: Glad he's getting so comfy in his new home!
