Updated 5/25/13:

I made him a bed(I havent made these in a while but i thought i'd try it out) its a pack of rice sewn with a zipper to take it out of the pack rice holds the heat but doesnt get too hot to worry about(I've been checking the temp in it since we put it in, it doesnt even get as hot as the cage!!) he LOVES it!! Also please ignore the torn up paper towels and the little black flakes in his cage he got mad at me yesterday and tore up his drift wood log(Currently taken away) and his paper towels and i havent cleaned the cage yet... Also the termometer fell down and is stuck to the rock if any1 has any suggestions on removing it, it would be awesome :lol: because it will not come off! I soaked it in some water and the paper got all yucky on the inside and the humidity and heat are stuck at 80 each, id rather just get rid of it... I never use it anyways, tho Boba Fett does lol he lays on it!! Silly boy :lol:

We have the accurite digital thermometer with probe in both of the tanks of our girls. They routinely sit on the probe, which makes the temperature on their basking spot go from what it was to 85f instantly. We finally got a temperature gun online and it works great! It measures the temps to within one degree of the true accurite digital thermometer with probe we have.
