Re arranging Tank. Questions.

So I plan on getting tile and a bunch of zebra rocks/ lava rocks and other types of stones from The East Bay Vivarium soon. Going to re-build his basking spot with the rocks and change out his carpet because I don't like having to clean it. The tile will be much easier to maintain. Current his basking spot is a branch/log type thing angled upward on a cave from petsmart.

Questions.

1. Do I need to do anything with the rocks cleaning wise before placing them in his tank? Same with the tile?

2. Should I be doing this so soon? I've had him for a little over a month now. Should I put him through the stress of a changed environment all over again? =/..

3. I want to put his uvb inside his tank. It currently sits on top and I've read plenty of times that it's much better inside. Can you guys link me to exactly what it is I would need to have it placed inside.

1. Tiles you bake at 250 for 10 minutes. Rocks you can wash with a safe cleaning solution.

2. It depends in the beardie, really. You could always start with one change at a time. My beardies could care less if I make a change to their cage. I've done it enough times and every time they are like "eh."

3. Some people use the "ghetto hanger" method and take wire hangers and bend them to fit. I bought a fixture at Walmart and screwed it into the screen. Also, on beardeddragon.co they have metal brackets specifically for hanging it in the cage.
