Bought some of these at the local grocery store after hearing about how nutritious these are for beardies. I've always thought of trying them, but couldn't exactly figure a good way to prepare them. I kind of filleted each side making sure to at least remove all of the prickles. I wanted to get most of the skin off, but was only able to get about 70% of it off. I then rinsed them, sliced them longways like fingers hanging still attached to the base, and then sliced sideways dicing them very small. My adult hasn't been super interested in his collards much these past few days, but when I put these in there, he went absolutely crazy eating this stuff. I've never seen anything like it with him. Love these things!!! They are pretty cheap at about $1 for 3 leaves so I might have found a new staple.... hooray! Three of these pads filled a regular size butter bowl so it makes quite a bit of food. Just thought id share
