Rankin Temps

I have my Rankin coming tomorrow and I've been monitoring the tank temps in anticipation. They've been between 89-101 (89 on the carpet and 101 on the high point of the log) on the basking side using both a gun and digital thermometer. I know that's kinda cool for a juvenile...but any thoughts on a Juv Rankin? I know they are similar, just not sure if I should raise it up a few degrees.

I guess a followup. I know night temps should not drop below 65F, but what is too hot? I have a CHE on a dimmer and it's about 80F which is about a 10 degree drop from daytime.
