So I got home, ate dinner, washed my hands and got Sahara to watch some TV with me. She was hangin' out just like normal, and after scittering away from me a few times, I put her back in her viv to feed her. I dusted a dozen crix and dumped em in. she ate one. she ate another. then bolted for the wall, and clunked right into it, nose first. she kept running, even though there was nowhere to go. I'm worried shes gonna hurt her nose.

she finished her meal normally, but I'm worried she's gonna do this wall smashing thing a lot more when I'm not around. maybe I'll try covering the walls of her glass viv.

whuddya think?

That's Smurf's typical behavior too. Try moving the cricket cage away from the viv. If Smurf can see the crickets he tries running into the wall to get them.

Spike does that all the time. In fact, he will run around my apartment, run smack into a wall then take a step back and stare at the wall like it's some weird invisible forcefield that he can't get through. Does it all the time. Weird-o.

ok this morning i tooj klaus out with me for some sun time. we were outside for a good hour when birds flew over. he imediatly took off for the front door but he ran dead smack into the cement wall afterwards it was like he could have gotten some brain damage coz his body is stiff. when i got him back in his viv he was lying same spot for a while and straight into his hide. im really worried coz he doesnt look allright and his beard is black. and gee he was at a high speed seemed like he bounced off

Birds and other animals beardies see as predators will trigger that reaction. Don't worry about it, as long as he's not running away from you or hurting himself.

I used to worry when they would run into walls too...like OUCH full speed into a solid object cant feel good.
I dont really think there is any need to worry....beardies are odd lil buggers...

Roxy is the worst one of my dragons ...she isnt used to me holding her and she will jump off my hand and hit the wall of her cage....ughhh she gives me grief, but she stops complaining when she realizes im just getting her for a bath.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
