i havnt a clue whats going on and was wondering if anyone can fill me in, been keeping beardies for some time now and have never come across my situation, i have done many many hours of reserch into behaviors and background of our beloved pets , but for the past two days my three females have gone nuts, well two of them and my lil girl is suck in the thick of it, there taking it in turns to be male and are copulating, i mean not juist like having a fantastic male i mean giving each ohter a rest and are at it again, firstly how is this biologicaly possible to tie, and are there trying to tell me there sexually frustrated, they have been in with a male and are not intrested in him, god i sound thick but is there any web sites :study: or pages that goes into the bejhavours and bio of them, how often do they ovulate ? and what is the genral trates of them, i.e this is perfectly normal for this time of year, in the wild they ........bla bla bla.

thanks very much for the replys , greatly appreciated. Panic over , turns out that it is perfectly normal and means that i have brought my females into cycle. Mating needs to be performed with in a 24 our time scale, or this behaviour will calm down and decrease over a few days. The only concern i have is because of locked vents i may have a batch of infertile eggs which could be dangerous to her .. but will just have to wait and see. lesson learned for the present is to collect data over the oncoming months , to make behavioral diffrences and cycles more obviuos to me, :study: for next years breeding programme . seems theres never a dull moment :D

Housing bearded dragons together can be dangerous, as they are normally solitary animals in the wild. What size of an enclosure are you keeping them in? Sometimes you can get away with it, but from what many people on here have said they can turn on each other in an instant.

+1 I would recommend housing them separately.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
