Rambo McGrumpyPants... worried beardie mommy once again

My sweet loving little Rambo is shedding again, almost constant the last month. I tried to take him out of his cage earlier for bath time which is usually his favorite...and he bit at me at first, then opened his mouth puffed up and made a wheezing/squeeling kindof noise... is that normal?

He always gets grumpy when he sheds but he's never made a noise like that before...

yea it's normal my little guy McLuvin is only 7 1/2inches he arches his back like a cat and makes a little hiss sound :laughhard: My other male got like that around this time of year (breeding season) and was always more grumpy when shedding.

Yes it is very normal...beardies get very agitated and don't really like to be handled during sheds.
He was just trying to tell you that by hissing and flairing up at you.
