My room is so empty now. I miss her so bad. She left so fast.
2 weeks ago I notice she lost weight, so I bought a weight balance. Concerned by the importance of the lost I called the vet. Saturday morning I bathed her and held her, she was alive and well. She had something going wrong obviously, but she was not close to death yet. It was minus 10 celsius outside so I made a Vortexe burrito, rolled her in her towel with heating pads and we went to the vet to make a blood sample. The poor girl was terrified obviously. She kept running, climbing on my coat and neck, hiding behind my hair and puffing her beard. On our way back she started to look unwell. Her eyes deepened inside her head, she looked like a corpse already. I did not understand back then, I thought she was traumatised, so once home I hand fed her with carnivore care and herbivore care as recommanded by the vet and laid her under the basking lamp. 1h30 later she would not open her eyes anymore, she was barely breathing. I called the vet in panic, he told me to bring her ASAP. On our way back, inside the car she opened her eyes, looked at me and close them back again. 5minutes later we were back at the exotic animal hospital and Vortexe had no more pulse. She was put in an heating capsule and yesterday morning I had a call saying she did not wake up. The vet said that she could not bear the stress due to her existing weakened condition.
I never thought that morning was the last one with her. If I was told that she would be dead by that afternoon I would never have believed it. What a choc! I miss my girl
