Her eyesight was bad and I think she was grabbing a piece of food but got a rock instead. It was lodged in her GI track. It was over a month before it was discovered.

Oh no, I am so sorry you lost Smaug like that, after her pulling through the surgery. Bless her,
she knew how much you loved her. She was beautiful.
