Hello all,
Something I just figured out today (after over 10 thousand times posting on this website) is that if you highlight the section of someones post that you want to quote, and press the quote button on the reply screen, it will only quote what you highlighted!!
This would have came in handy thousands of times for me if I would have known about it earlier. Instead I always just quoted the whole message, deleted what I didn't want and if there were two separate things in the post I wanted to quote, I'd separate them and give them each their own quote tags manually. So this is much much faster and easier!
I sure hope this is hidden knowledge and not something everyone already knew about! haha.
PS. To clarify you have to already have the "post a reply" screen up, then you scroll down at under where you type to see the previous messages. Highlight what you want to quote, and press quote and it will quote only the selected.
