Probable female is at least 5 months and 10.5 in. with a small tail nip.
I understand that every dragon grows at their own pace but is this abnormal?
She is currently eating small crickets equivalent to the size of chain Pet store's 'small'.
Should I up her size?

Hi there,

No, as long as she is eating fine and healthy, she will grow at her own pace.
You can if you want, just keep them smaller than the space between the dragons eyes as a general rule.

They are harmless, but I wouldn't let a bunch loose in your enclosure, they will get under things and die. Put them in a small bowl, they cannot climb very well when they are dry.

Any beardie over 10" can handle large PW's easily. I second ordering directly from the PW site. We keep ours in a small cooler with a jar of ice that we replace every few days. Keeps the temps in the 60-70 range in there. The worms will last longer in there before morphing into flies or dying.
