If my baby mama (hehe) is Het Trans, and the father is not, what is the chance my baby is Het Trans? Both parents are Het Hypo, and the baby is Hypo...are the two genes linked?
Its 50% by my punnett calculation, but im still very new to this...

Read this: http://www.mbdragons.eu/en/genetica.html

If you have a het hypo/het trans female bred to a het hypo male 25% normal phase 25% het hypo and 50% hypo. The Het trans gene is seperate and if the male doesn't have a recessive for trans the 50% of the babies will be het trans and the other 50% will be normal.

So your baby that is hypo has a 50% chance of being het trans.

It is
het trans / normal

normal het / normal

normal het / normal

there is your punnet square if it shows up right.

Hope this helps.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
