Zipper just got a shipment of Hornworms and Butterworms, and Silkworms, but I dont know how many to feed him. He has never had these before. I gave him one of each today and he loves em all, but I dont know which are treats or which are staples, I read that silkies are staple but butter and horn are rarely. I just need to know so I give him the right amount and not too much of the wrong.He gets mustard greens everyday 2 times a day. He hates phoenix worms, but loves supers, I have medium sized ones, he is up to 13' long from tip of nose to tip of tail.

Hi there Zip....you will probably get more responses in the feeding forum. I don't know much about silkkworms, I tried them years ago + my dragons weren't crazy for them, same with butters, some dragons ate them, some didn't. The hornworms are loved by ALL my beardies, and you can feed them one or two every day. One thing about the horns, they grow at a tremendous rate. If they are kept warm, they will double in size over night, so depending on what size yours are you may want to feed them before they get to 4", which can happen very quickly.

I have another question. I have Calcium Glubionate that I got from Cheryl from beardeddragon.co and how long does it last before its no good, and also I have been giving him 0.15 cuz of what he weighed at the time, I just had him weighed yesterday he is 0.46 close to half a pound which is 208 grams do I need to up his dose of liquid calcium or keep him at what he is at???
