To save a little money, I was thinking about using the Zoo Med Power Sun MVB Bulb for both heat and light. Are they safe to use now and do they provide the right amout of UV as a Reptisun 10.0 would? I'll be getting my beardie sometime in August or September and I want to make sure I have everything I will need. Here is my updated shopping list. If I am missing anything, please let me know.

- Exo Terra 36x18x18 Terrarium
- 100 watt Zoo Med Powersun MVB
- 60 watt Ceramic Heat Emitter
- Light Fixtures - x2
- Temp Gun
- Driftwood
- Food and Water Bowls
- Slate Tile (substrate)
- Rep Cal Calcium and Herptivite

Other Supplies
- Reptile Hammock
- Cricket Storage Bin
- Cricket Food
- Tongs ( I hate touching crickets lol )

heard various oppions and i believe you are better off with a repti sun since your going all out already.

I don't know how much you'll be paying for that exo terra enclosure, but you can get a 40 gallon breeder tank (36x18) for relatively cheap at glass-cages.com http://www.glasscages.com/?sAction=ViewCat&lCatID=3
You can also pick them up for cheap whenever Petco has one of their dollar a gallon sales. That alone should save you more then using a powersun would.

Wow, that site has really cheaps tanks :shock: I wish I would have known about them before!
