Ember will not eat her veg. any kind. she'll take a couple pieces of collards out of hand but thats it. I need to get more than just crickets in her. any suggestions/alternatives??

Also Buster apparently while I was gone decided to try to run through the glass tank..dont understand it. now it looks as though he is missing a couple scales from the tip of his nose , anything i should do? will they grow back??

and now that it is getting warmer out around here id like to start taking them out to get some sun. i should invest in a leash right? any recommendations of a certain kind which will not harm them and works well?? are they too small for that, they are both a good 12"+ but Ember still needs some weight to her.

any advice/opinions on how to make them happier and healthier would be great please

My friends beardie NEVER has had veggies...he will take a couple bites of lettuce and thats it. My beardie will eat anything. Have you tried fruit?

As for running into the glass, I would just try to keep the area clean...frequent baths (for both).

Going outside I would just get a leash that wraps around their body (not neck) much more comfortable. I would just keep an eye on them so that they wont eat anything.

give them time on the veggies some beardies wont eat them till they get older,,and i would not worry about the missing scales as long as there is no open wound or blood you should be fine ,,yes taking them outside is a great idea there are many leashes that work i use a iguana leash on max and it works for all sizes and it was super cheap like four bucks ..
hope i answered all your questions ...and have you tried fruit with ember max loves apples and raspberries ,,look on beautifuldragons.com and there is a list of things they can have so you can try different things

thank, will do! ive tried different greens, veg & some fruit but I'll try more. she'll take a lick and then turn her head away like this foor is not good enough for such a beautiful dragon :lol: what are some other option for insects which are good for them just to know???

The only thing that I have to add is that you might try giving her the veggies first thing in the morning before she's had any other food. Stella is more apt to dig into them if they are offered first. Also, if she has a fruit that she particularly likes maybe put some of that in the salad too. Stella loves cantaloupe so I chops up a little bit of that and toss it in with the salad (when I have it--my 4 year old loves it too! :lol: ). Other than that, just keep offering it to her and hopefully she'll get with the program eventually.
