I do not live in the Uk but i have some advice. Glueing down your floor has pros and cons. If you just place it down it is easy for it to get messy underneath. What i did was i took a piece of scrap sheet aluminum ( you could use anything tho even a piece of cardboard cut to the size of the bottom of your vivarium ) and layed a tile floor on top of that. That way i can still remove the floor as one piece but do not have to worry about crevices. Any tile will be fine but slate tile is recomended because of its ability to file down your beardies nails. Im not sure if you have them in the UK but there is a vinyl tile product that can be cut with a utilitity blade, decent pair of shears, or anything like that. Its pretty much plastic. Very easy to work with and cheap. I have installed vinyl tile in a few homes. Not good for a kitchen because its not exactly load bearing but for the floor of a less than 1lb animal it will last forever.
