Question on colors and temperatures

Hi! I have a question regarding the color of my beardie due to temperatures. I've read a few posts on here which mention that a beardie sometimes gets darker in color when they are cold and trying to warm up. However, I've noticed that my beardie gets much darker in color when he's on his basking spot (which is around 105, measured with a temp gun). When I have him out of his tank and he is out in my living room he always gets much lighter in color. It stands to reason that my living room is definitely cooler in temperature than his tank. So from what I've noticed my beardies colors seem to go the opposite way of what I've read in a few different threads. Is this abnormal and is it anything to worry about?

From what I have seen they darken up to help absorb the UV and heat and lighten up when not. Our beardies also lighten up when they are happier but that may be just ours.

It's nothing I'd worry about. They darken to help absorb light and lighten up to reflect light as mentioned. He's just adapting to get what he needs.
