Question on breeding

Hi,

My beardie Roxanne is just about 3 y/o and is a sand fire. I put her with a male hypo red and I saw a lot of bobbing and waving between the two of them but never saw them breed. I kept the male with her for a week.
Roxanne has always been very chill and sits on my chest every day and just sits there with me until I put her back in her viv.
Today I took her out of her viv and put her on the shoulder and she bolted and I almost dropped her. Once I got her in my hand she was totally flipping out so i put her back on my chest and she bolted again. I got her back in her viv and she was breathing really hard. I misted her to calm her down as she loves to be misted and left her alone after that.
Could the change in her be that she is pregnant?

Hmm.....Sounds like maybe she was just a little stressed. Really, the only signs of pregnancy that you will see is digging, pacing, and lumps in the belly. This will come later in pregnancy. If you have the two of them in the same room, I would make sure that they are not able to see eachother. Mating can be quite brutal for the female and seeing him may only stress her out. Make sure you feed her lots and lots of food, and supplement with calcium to make sure you get good strong eggs. Good luck!
