I did a experament on powderd calcium(rep-cal phosphorous-free calcium with vit.d3 and calci-max multi mineral powder) both are fine powders.the calci-max seems to fully cover and stay on the crickets well the rep-cal barley covers them. I now you calci-max on my crickets and zilla food spray calcium supplement on my lettuce(romane).keira and jack seem to like it. I put some live meal worms in there lettuce and dead one and they eat both, I'm stating to feed jack by hand with dead meal worms and it works so far.
I know we were discussing how much calcium to give on your other thread but I just discovered this post and had to add more info. Since you're using calci-max on the crickets, you shouldn't be putting the spray calcium on the greens too. They should only be getting calcium 5 days a wk and ONLY 1 feeding a day. The other 2 days a wk, you should be dusting their crickets with vitamins but again ONLY 1 feeding a day. Too much of either supplement is not good for them.
Romaine lettuce isn't a good green to feed daily and by itself. Please check out this site and make note of the best greens that are listed in green print.
http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html The romaine is mostly water and can also make their poop very liquidy which isn't good either.
Mealworms have a hard chitin shell so it is a risk impaction especially for babies. Feeding DEAD mealworms is a very bad idea because if they are dead, they died for a reason so certainly not healthy to feed them. I suggest you read this
caresheet and there are others also posted at the top of this forum. There is a lot of information that you should read up on.
