question about vet check ups

We have an appointment scheduled for tuesday and I think my dragons are starting to go into brumation. They both slept most the day. do you think it'd matter if my dragons weren't conscious for their check up? :lol:

And what would happen if it turned out one or both had parasites or something? Can I give them medicine if they're asleep?
