Question about UVB lighting

I, under the advice of a pet store employee, made a mistake and purchased a bulb that produces UVB. I read here that it doesn't and it is better to buy the ones that stretch the entire cage. I bought the zoo med reptisun 48 inch 10.0 UVB, and it is arriving anytime from the 8th to the 10th. I, in the meantime at night, use a ceramic heater where I normally place the UVB bulb. I was wondering if I can leave the ceramic heater in all the time and just not use the UVB bulb for a maximum of five days, or if I should still keep the uvb bulb that I have now in place until the other one comes.

Ceramic heaters do not emit UVB. They only emit heat, not even light so they're not meant to replace neither UVB tubing or Basking Lights. I personally have no experience to UVB bulbs, so I can't give a recommendation in whether using them as a temporary or not.

Sorry. I didn't explain it very well but I was wondering if it would be ok to not use my UVB bub for just a few days. I am not replacing it with the ceramic heater.

A few days is OK without UVB in most cases. The T8 you ordered is long to cover the whole tank but isn't very powerful. It should sit about 6-8'' above the main basking area for best results and should be used in a fixture with a reflector.
