Ok.. I was just wondering what you all think of this.. one of the ladies at the pet store where we got Jango told me if I feed Jango any kind of worm that I need to break it's head.. I guess she meant to kill it first.. or it will chew it's way out of his stomach and kill him.. is this true? I thought they chewed them up? I don't remember seeing anywhere on here that mentions that I have to kill them first unless I missed it.. thanks for any info.

the only thing i've come across online is about wax worms. I guess they have teeth. Some website had it as another reason not to feed them to reptiles...they said it was possible. I honestly do not know how valid that statement is, I've never researched it further. I didn't even know some worms have teeth! But I would suppose those types of worms may be what the person was talking about.

Horsehockey. You don't need to kill or behead anything. No worm will gnaw its way out of your beardie's stomach-it's an urban legend that has been circulating for some time now.

I'm not down for the whole mutilation before feeding and to be quite honest... Li'l Miss likes live things that move LOTS. She won't even touch silkworms, because they don't have enough wiggle. I've never done anything different for her then dust and pour. She takes care of the rest quite well. :)

We never had a issue after hundreds of wax and super worms, well more like thousands... Freddie loves them both. The only thing I noticed is, she won't eat any if they are dead or not moving.

thanks everyone.. I feel better now knowing that if I decided to give him any type of worm he'll be fine.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
