question about PW

i feed my Diego about 30-35 PW in the morning and i feed him mainly crickets at night. if he is eating that many PW daily is there any need to dust the crickets? i have a vitamin/calcium mix should i dust them just so he gets the vitamins or are the PW enough. i was thinking of switching over to PW as his staple so he would eat 50 PW a day and crix maybe 2-3 times a week would this be fine for a beardie diet or should PW be kept as a treat for him and not a staple

No need to dust the day you feed pw's with calcium, vitamins however .

i mixed my vitamins in with the calcium i have, would it be to much calcium for him if i dusted the crixets with the mix

Yes I would say it would be too much. PWs are HIGH in calcium. I use them as a staple. But Im going to try the PWs in the morning and crickets at night , greens all day. Just to cut down on the expense for a while. I wont dust them at all. I use spray vitamins on her greens. I love it , its not messy , its oderless and tasteless.Kiku doesnt even know she is eating it.
