The Beautiful Dragons food chart says phlox is a edible flower for dragons. We have this type of phlox by our house.

Phlox Paniculata is it's Latin name. I'm curious if I can feed some of it to Nimrod. Has anybody else tried feeding their dragon this? The Beautiful Dragons chart has it but doesn't say much about it. It just says that the plant is edible. And if I can feed it to Nim, what part? The flower or the leaves?
So many questions.

As long as you know there are no chemicals in the soil, or any chemicals sprayed on the plants. We do feed our dragon greens that are grown in some planters we have, but we know exactly what we used to grow them. Organic soil, water, sun.

Perfect! I will try some as a treat tomorrow. :D Now one question, the flower or leaves? Which do I feed?

I have to say, and this is going to sound silly, but as a kid I used to pick these flowers in the spring and my grandma called them by their name I always thought it was spelled "flocks". I know I weird, I think of the way a word is spelled when I pronounce it.
Anyway I wanted to say, we used to suck the nectar out of these flowers as kids so I knew they were edible. (like honeysuckle). I would just rinse them well to wash away any pesticide or chemical residue.

Again, thanks for the responses. People are so helpful here! :D I used to pick those flowers and give them to mom since they smell beautiful. But I never knew what they were called. Just called them, 'perfume flowers' LOL. We kept our birds from them because we thought they may be toxic. And I know for a fact that these flowers are clean of pesticides. But I will rinse them anyway because of bugs or anything like that. I do the same with the dandelion greens. And now that I know what they are called, when we move I'll plant some in the new house. Because they attract Hummingbird Hawk Moths and Hummingbirds. :D And that they can be a treat for Nimmy! :p

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
