Question about new beardie

Still dont have one, this is just something I want to know ahead of time.

I know that there is stress when moving into a new home for "him", with snakes we wait a few days before starting food, should this also be how it is for "him"? Or should food be offered as soon "he" gets home? So in short, what should happen when I bring "him" home and the next few days following?

You should continue offering food throughout the relocation stress period. Usually, for the first day the dragon will eat. But after that, the relocation stress sets in and the beardie will stop eating. Its still good to try to offer food during this time though.

lol, I have a stalker.

Just kidding.

Since I know he'll be off his food should I offer a lesser amount so nothing goes to waste since Im not sure how easy it will be to pick out the roaches once they are in the tank.

Dubias and crickets are rather easy to catch if you have no problems moving or seeing. With Dubia you can put them in a dish and unless you put in a TON of them they probably won't get out. Only had one get out and it had climbed over Mojo to escape lol.

Poor Mojo, being used as a ladder. Good to know I can leave them in a bowl and not have to worry to much. Should I worry to much about him losing weight or once it passes he'll regain the weight?

Once your lil one settles in and is over relocation stress you will wonder if it even went without food! It will turn into a piggy! Mojo wanted to be a piggy today but I only had 3 crix left. The PO is holding my dubia hostage, but tracking says I will have them freed tomorrow lol. They will be half feeders and half breeders.
