Question about feeding Superworms.

Kiku is 15 inches long, nose to tail tip. Im getting SOO tired of the crix. I feed PWs in the mornin and crix in the evenings. I want to start doing the PWs in the morning , and Supers in the evenings, but I was afraid that the 2 inch supers might still be to big for her. I found small size supers at mullberryfarms.com . They are 3/4 to 1 inch. I thought that would be perfect to start off with untill she is a few more inches long. What do yall think ? Any input would be greatly accepted ! I value yalls opinion, in fact , I LIVE by it when it comes to Kiku!

I KNOW she loves supers , I had to grab some in a pinch at petco once, but they were the big ones. She still chomped them like a kid would candy! LOL !

You could probably start switching her over gradually. Through a few in there with her crickets and each week do a few more supers and a few less crickets. You dont want to just switch all of the sudden though.

Hi Teri..... yeah I would say Kiku is ready for something a little meatier :lol:

I would take it slow...as GoFast suggested...just because they are a much bigger feeder than say the PWs.

Thanks guys! She will be stoked at getting to eat supers again ! I will start her off slow like you said. I think she is not liking the crix much any more either , she doesnt eat as many as she used to. LOVES the PWs though and her greens, like I said in a previous post, I have to refil her greens bowl about 4 times a day!

Kiku looks so sweet in your avatar.... and Yes, she does look as if she was posing. Those little boogers really know how to keep us wrapped around their little fingers, don't they?!

That is awesome that she is eating 4 bowls of salad a day :shock: I would be beside myself if my Rex ate 4 bowls of salad a week :roll: :lol:
