Hello everybody, I have a quick question. First, I'm not sure whether this belongs in 'Feeding' or 'General Discussion'. I decided it would fit better in feeding. So, for my question. I've had Nim for a long while now and not once has he gone out of the house. You know, like a drive to the pet store. He'll probably enjoy the car ride, he did when I was driving home after buying him. LOL, he was so small then! Anyways Halloween is near and a pet store is having a costume contest. I already have a adorable Dimetrodon costume for him. The store is probably 30 minutes or an hour away depending on which one to go to. I was wondering, should I feed him? I know they need a temp of 95 degrees F or higher to digest properly. Fall is coming in Maine and the day time temp is now 60 to 70 degrees F. Way too cold for a beardie to digest in. So since we are going to be out for at least a few hours, should I not feed him? He is about 5 maybe 6 months old now, so he needs to be fed twice a day. Yes, I already know the feeding rule. There is a good gap of time in between breakfast and dinner. But what if we leave before breakfast? Would it be okay to feed him while we are out? Or would the food rot inside him even if he had a little snack?
Thanks for any replies. I highlighted all the questions.
