question about eating too fast

my dragon over the passed few weeks has been growing and developing different styles of doing things. at first i would put some worms in a bowl and he will eat what he wanted and leave the rest when he was done. now his appetite had grown and he's eating like 3 worms at a time before chewing them. i feel this will cause problems for him. so i may have to give him a worm at a time? and keep dropping them in as he wants? does anybody else have this problem? or have experienced this? giving him 1 at a time seems to crazy and very time consuming. but i don't like seeing him eat like 3 phoenix worms at a time. yes they are small, but when you aren't chewing its just allow of whole food left in his stomach. any advice for this?

For the pheonix worms especially I would make sure he is at least chewing them - they can pass undigested if not. You could try scattering them around so that he has to run around and "hunt" them and therefore eat a little slower.

thanks! i haven't noticed them being passed undigested yet. but still freaks me out when i see him cleaning the bowl 3 at time. lol. he does like to hunt for them. like when some climb out of the dish he has fun going to look for them.
