Puppy...with a beardie???

Hi everyone! this is Bob...

So here is my question.... I just got a puppy, so I was wondering if anyone else had dogs...and if your dog gets along with your beardie. If so, how did you introduce them? I let chewy(the puppy) see Bob( Bob was on the floor) and he was real excited(the dog)lol. Bob was pretty cool...the puppy licked Bob, and Bob just kinda sat there, but then chewy got to excited, I was afriad he was going to nip at bob :shock: ....so I put him outside. Should I slowly keep showing chewy Bob? or should I just leave well enough alone and keep the dog outside while bob is running around the house?

I wouldn't risk having them together to much. I have 2 small dogs and they are very interested in my beardies. They sit and watch the tank sometimes and are always interested in what i'm doing when i'm doing my beardie chores. The dogs are well enough behaved that they can be in the room if i'm giving a bath or something, but i would never leave them alone or even let the dog be in the room if my dragon isnt in my hands or on my shirt.

I think that if your beardie had a sudden burst of energy and took off across the floor that your dog wouldnt be able to help themselves and would take off after it. Someone could really get hurt

I thought the same thing..... just wanted to check and see if any dogs got along with beardies. Thank you for the info!
