Puking for the last 2 days!

Well, money has been tight and I had to switch to crickets for a bit until I can afford roaches.. but anyways, I fed Iris crickets, I'm not sure how many.. but she's been puking up wads of crickets for the last 2 days and half her tail is very black.

She's been laying down a lot.. when i go to check on her, she perks right up and jumps around like she used to do.. but when I leave.. she's back to laying down.

I am starting to get worried.. at first I thought maybe she just found some in her tank after i turned the lights off and couldn't digest them (I always check before i turn the lights off, but some are so sneaky), then i thought maybe she just ate too many, but now I'm worried.. the last one was a biiig wad of them.. hardly even digested.

Please help.

I am sorry to hear that Iris is ill. The first thing I would do would be to test the temperature at Iris's basking spot warm side, and cool side. If the temp is not sufficient, they cannot digest properly. Also, please let us know how you are measuring temps- a heat gun, a digital thermometer with probe, or the round ones. A description of your set-up would be helpful, but I would start with the temps. I would also not feed any more crickets for a bit. Please offer her water with a dropper to ensure that she is hydrated. If necessary, add a few drops of unsweetened juice to the water. You might also give her a bath. It would help a bit to hydrate her, and it might make her feel better.

Hopefully, other members will have ideas to offer.

Her cool side is 82, basking is 108, and hot side is 90ish (I don't usually check this one). I use a digital thermometer with a probe.. and i check temperatures regularly.
I will try giving her a bath.
I put some water in with her greens, but she hasn't seemed interested in those.. she isn't much of a salad eater.

She just turned 9 months on the 6th if that helps.

Well I just wanted to update and say that I think Iris has it all out of her system. I am going to take it slow with the feeders for the next few days to see if she can keep them down.

If she throws them up again, I plan to take her to the vet and have him run every test in the book! I don't want my little pookie to be sick.

The good news is she's got all her color back in her tail, so I am hoping she just had an upset tummy from eating so much. My little piggy.
