Puffing up??

everything has been going well so far, but now the little bugger is in his/her second shed and when my son goes to pick it up for snuggle time (bed) he starts running around (jumps out of hand runs around on his bed) and when he tried to pick him up he puffs up at him Remember this is my sons pooper only about 8 weeks old,but I take care of it when he works late . This just started today, never did this before and he/she has shed 1 time before and loves to snuggle normally but tonight he was off the wall. he finally just held him and looked him right in the eye and wrapped him in his blankie and he settled right down, but whats up with that??? do you think its because he is shedding or because I have been feeding him the last couple of days and not my son? did he want me :lol:

Dragons can just plain be moody sometimes. Mine will puff at me if I'm late with a feeding, don't turn the lights in the room off soon enough, torture her with a bath, or heaven forbid wake the princess up. Today I got puffed at for not letting her sleep under my bed (or between my matress and headboard). Eight week old dragons are quite squirmy usually, so consider yourself lucky that you can handle yours. As long as he calmed down, that's a very good sign.
