puffing beard out when putting into his cage

hi i have found a wierd behavior in my beardie neville when we take him out he stays out for atleast 20 minutes but when we grab him and try putting him back in his cage he starts going crazy and puffs his beard what should i do so he wont get mad

Maybe he just wants to stay out for a bit he may like being out. Try keeping him out for a little longer? I notice with mine they will sometimes find somewhere and fall asleep so that's about the time I put them back (usually they fall asleep on me or in a corner on the room)

yeah that happens with neville also but every day he gets worse some days when hes out you pet him he backs away and puffs his beard but msot of the time he falls asleep when we take him out

My Princess Littlefoot gets like that when I put her back in her tank too. She's 2 years old and is out from 5:30pm until I go to bed around 10pm during the work week and then out from the time I get up until the time I go to bed on weekends. She goes almost everywhere with me!! She will kick and try to jump when I even walk near her tank!! They just love the attention. Like, right now, as I'm typing, she's laying on my arm watching the screen of the lap top. They are very attached to their owners.

my girl loves hanging out with me. I put her in her tank, and within a few minutes she will be jumping and looking to see where I am at. She loves to sit on the couch looking out the window. She also loves hanging on my shoulder or neck. When she gets scared she runs and climbs up on my neck. I am just loving it too. It took almost 2 months to tame her but well worth it.

thanks guys it seems neville is learning that he has to go back in he isnt freaking out that much anymore and thank you all most of the time i wait untill he falls asleep or he is tired and wants to go back in thanks guys once again for all your help
