Protein supplement for baby beardie throwing up?

I'm wondering if there is a protein supplement or substitute that I can give my baby bearded dragon that can't seem to hold down her food?
A little info about her...
I just adopted her not even a week ago from my work because one of her tankmates had nipped her tail & bitten off both her back legs. She went to the vet on Friday because one of her legs looked like it had been infected when I took her home last Tuesday. They told me it looked like it was already healing because I had been applying betadine to it, but gave me some ointment to speed up the healing. I had told them my concerns about her not wanting to eat her small crickets (she is terrified of them) , & told them I had given her some baby supers but she threw them up. They told me she was probably stressed & not feeling well because of the infection & suggested I give her small mealworms instead. I did as they said & she ate some yesterday & the night before but when I came home last night she had thrown up again. She only weighs 7 grams & is about 4 inches long.
Her setup...
20 gallon long (because she's still so tiny) glass with a screen top, basking temps between 90-100 & about 80 on the cool side, has a UVB tube for the whole tank, misted daily & loves her baths, & is on newspaper until her wounds heal then she will be on reptile carpet like the rest of my babies. Also, she hasn't been allowed around the other beardies because they are much larger than her, & I'm afraid will just stress her out more.
Any advice on what to do is great, but mostly I'm just wondering if there is something I can syringe feed her for protein until she's better & eating on her own? Thanks!

Poor little thing ! Your vet, though well meaning , gave bad advice. Tiny beardies, especilly sick, can not tolerate the hard shell of mealworms. get her some Phoenix or Reptiworms, and as for the crickets, smash one between your fingers+ rub it on her nose gently. Or just shake the crickets in a jar until they are very slow moving + dizzy and just drop a couple at a time near her. Some vets sell carnivore care supplement, so ask for it....that's what you're looking for. Give some extra water by syringe, too....drip it on her mose right away because she will be very dehydrated now. At least she has an appetite [ that's a good sign ! ] since she went for the mealies, but she should be able to eat some nice soft Phoenix worms. Oh, and she needs a basking temp. of 105 - 110 to help her digest her food. Also,. what type of UVB do you have, be specific with brand + name . Not all bulbs are good.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
