This made me laugh so I just wanted to share it. I have spoiled my two beardies by hand feeding and am trying to break the habit, so I set a bowl of dubias in with Cass, which he ignored...until the cat heard them and decided to watch from the other side of the glass. Cass immediately jumped down to the bowl and stared at the cat, who stared back. Cass moved back to his log when he was satisfied that the cat could not get his roaches.

That's funny. When Dave sees one of my dogs, he keeps a close eye on them. If they sniff him, he puffs up and opens his mouth ready to attack. That FREAKS OUT my dogs. Now my dogs approach with caution.

LOL that would be funny to watch! My dog won't go near the beardies...she's scared of everything. The cat in the picture always jumps up when I have Cass out and sniffs him, then he licks her nose a few times and she nuzzles him. It is cute but makes me nervous to have her mouth so close to his head! Our other Beardie, Norm, doesn't seem to notice or care about the cats, but if he sees the dog when I'm holding him, he hurries up to my neck and buries his head and clings to me tight. It's so funny how they have such different personalities, I love it!

Norm is usually very lazy and mellow...has been since we brought him home. But when I walked in with Cass, Norm immediately started bobbing so hard he was bouncing off the ground! I was laughing so hard. Poor Cass just kept waving, one arm at a time, as big as he could. Even after I put paper up Cass would sit in the corner closest to Norm's cage (across the room) waving. Poor guy! After two days I finally moved his tank to the other side of my desk so there was no line of sight ...I had to show Norm the empty place where Cass was previously so he would stop bobbing! I think he moved more in those two days than he has in his entire life!

They sure are funny, aren't they? When we had both Goldie and Rosie for a few months (almost 5 years ago now) Goldie was eating super worms and her back was to Rosie who was in her tank. Goldie arm waved once or twice. They got along fairly well, except for a couple of times outside when Rosie went after Goldie. Rosie has calmed down a lot now, but she turned 5 about the middle of June so maybe that has something to do with it. She has been helping our new baby (we got Lil Squirt on November 7, 2012 and she turned 1 year on June 18, this year. It's fun to watch them together. We took them to the 4th of July shindig in our local area this year and Squirt kept looking at Rosie for direction on how to handle all the human children that were there and fascinated with them.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
